Hello unique. Hope you all had a great week, welcome to the weekend, today’s look is all about being casually glam. And cotton (tee) and denim is the universal language of casual style, and the skinny denim are my best choice. I have always been a mood dresser, that's why i can't plan my outfits a day before, cause I might wake up feeling some type of way, and that can determine the outfits i wear that day. You can determine what mood I  in  according to the way i dress daily. There’s nothing about ones appearance that can’t be improve, it’s all in the accessories, so I decided to glam-up this casual look with my very own hand made lace back-pack, the colour is so vibrant. (Red happens to be my fav colour too). I also plan to make it in other lovely  colours . The only cons I can say about jeans is that you can’t wear it into an expensive restaurant and fit in. hahaha. Hello unique. Hope you all had a fruitful weekend, mine was fruitful indeed, I was able to finish this dress I have been sewing, I first saw it on solange and fell in love with the cut of the dress.   Being the kind of person that I am I immediately began planning how to recreate the look in my own style. I believe you can recreate any look to suite your style.   But   trust me it was way harder than I had imagined, but I  didn't  let that faze me, my motto being; nothing is impossible for me. Hope you all had a great and fulfilled weekend, I wore this outfit on a Sunday morning to church, my Sunday mornings style always consist on pants ,skirt, shirt and blazers because I happen to be in a choir that has strict rules on dressing,(corporate dressing). The colour scheme this Sunday was my three fav colour white, black and red; I decided to make this my slim fit jackets the center of attraction. A few days back a friend of mine sent me an online store websites that carries everything from clothes, shoes, bags to gadgets and holiday get-away. I was reluctant to check it out because I am one of the few people that would rather go to stores to shop than shop online, but when I visited, I was amaze not only at the variety of products they carry, but also at the affordability of the products, and that's a mind changer for me because their items are way more affordable than the stores I shop. Hello unique. I wore this outfit the day I had plan to stay in, I didn't feel like dressing up; just wanted to be in my pj's eat, sleep and watch TV. However my plans change because I had a previous engagement that I almost forgot about. This brought a challenge for me because I  didn't  feel like dressing up, but I am grateful I stock up on jeans for moment like this, like we will all agree a girl needs a pair of jeans in her wardrobe, in my case many, because I have this kind of days a lot. (Pair of jeans always comes to my rescue) lol. My outing was formal so I decided to dress up my jean with this very detail blouse and a pair of strappy sandals to look more formal.  I tuck in my blouse to give off a well planed look and to show effort.  Please bear with me frowning in all this pic, like I said earlier I wasn't too happy to change my stay-in plan.  I did try to muster up a smile here though. Hello unique. It has being a very busy and creative week for me, busy because I have a project I am working on, and I have also been working on the design for my birthday dress, I plan to make something sexy and unique, sexy because I want to wear something different (get in touch with my feminine side) push some boundaries and just be adventurous, after all its my day. I wore this bodycon dress a few days back to celebrate my country’s independent I normally would have won a green jean and a white tee, cause my country’s colour is green and white, but in my adventurous spirit I decided to wear this dress to spice things up. I have had this knitted kimono for months now, waiting for the right occasion to wear it. The texture is so cool and flattering to the body.  The amazing thing is the Silhouette of this kimono; it  didn't  disrupt the sexiness of the dress; its help in making it look classy.   Yea! Hello unique. I decided to wear this lovely varsity jacket I made myself, on a day that I have many errant to run, because I wanted to show it off, who wouldn't?   And what better way to show off this unique piece other than wearing an all white piece ( just like an artist needs canvas to showcase art). And the spotlight was on the jacket because of my all white ensemble. It was very sunny that day, but it didn’t matter because I made the jacket from a light material, and the print is so eye catching, if you look closely you will see that I combined two different print together, the print on the sleeve is quite different from the one on the body, but I made sure the two print share a common colour (yellow). With the running around comes hunger,so i stopped for lunch. Trust me this print can even make a gloomy day turn bright and sunny, lol . UTD-JACKET Thanks for dropping by,till my next post.
