Birthday Dress

Hello unique.
Wow! were do I start? I celebrated my birthday a few days back and I had the best time with friends and family. (The gifts I received was awesome, can't wait to start posting them.) my birthday was an opportunity for me to take stock of all the great things God has done for me from the beginning of the year. I'm honored and grateful  and also looking forward with excitement on things to come.
I hope my birthday experience pics will make up for my little hiatus, I have been having problem with my system but I promise to resolve it asap. warning! too many pictures  Lol
 I mention a few post back that i was making my birthday dress,this is it.


 I wanted something unique and chic.

 I also made sure the material I use is eye catching and has all my fav colour, I didn't even need to use any accessories apart from my bag and glass heel.


Now for the celebration, I went out with my family and friends to a cool and serene place to celebrate.
  I am always amazed at how much detail is captured in a single still  image.
 A moment in time has been frozen, preserve forever, but also never to come again.
I used my new camera (still learning how to use it) gifted to me by my dearest brother, you won't see him here cause he is the man behind the camera.

    I am amazed at how clever you are, making that dress. I really like the hemline and how the skirt part kind of flows. I have taken a lot of sewing lessons in the past and for me it was so much harder than it looks. You seem to have a wonderful family and such a sweet brother. Hello unique. Happy, happy  New Year.  Wow! It’s amazing how time flies, still feels like yesterday when I celebrated 2013. Hello unique.  Hope you all had a lovely celebration, now for some of us its time to start thinking of a new year resolution, I use to do that too, but I realized early enough that I wouldn't stick to it pass January, so I have decided not to, but just try to be the best of me this coming year. And a few days back I went out with a friend to a restaurant for lunch, only for them to serve me dried up sausage, the food was horrible. I normally would have just eaten the food as it is or just leave it not to cause trouble. But I didn't do the usual; I went straight to the staffs, gave them a piece of my mind and dump the sorry excuse of food with them. Trust me I felt great afterwards. Santa's Girl

Hello unique.  I wore this outfit on Christmas day. Normally my Christmas day doesn't include dressing up; I would rather stay in and just eat, sleep, watch TV and do this all over again and I always end up missing morning services in church. But I wanted something different this time around. And yes I’m Santa’s girl because I decided to do some Santa’s duty by dropping off gifts to special friends. And what better way to carry gifts other than a big red bag like Santa’s does.  Hahaha. Since its Christmas day I decided to wear my favorite and versatile piece. I made this skirt in so many colors, and this gold one is the first I made, so I’m attach to it. It’s a fun skirt to wear and it always makes me want to twirl, I like the Barbie like feeling anytime I wear this skirt or any of the other colors.
