Plaid in it

Hello unique.

I remember the day I saw this plaid in my sister’s wardrobe, I couldn't wait to try it out because it just scream style me, so I styled this outfit around the plaid.
And the trick about styling a plaid piece like this is keeping it simple, because plaid is a bold print, so you should avoid overwhelming your look with too much at the same time.
Pairing it with a solid black ensemble is just right, because it gives the plaid a pop.
I have much love for this look because it such a stylish way to cover up in this cold raining season.
And red happens to be my fav colour.

    Hello Sandra! I totally agree with you, plaid needs something very simple to achieve a great combination and with your black trousers and t-shirt is the perfect match. I hope your sister don´t bother if you take sometimes her scarf. Kisses:)

Hello unique. Happy, happy  New Year.  Wow! It’s amazing how time flies, still feels like yesterday when I celebrated 2013. Hello unique.  Hope you all had a lovely celebration, now for some of us its time to start thinking of a new year resolution, I use to do that too, but I realized early enough that I wouldn't stick to it pass January, so I have decided not to, but just try to be the best of me this coming year. And a few days back I went out with a friend to a restaurant for lunch, only for them to serve me dried up sausage, the food was horrible. I normally would have just eaten the food as it is or just leave it not to cause trouble. But I didn't do the usual; I went straight to the staffs, gave them a piece of my mind and dump the sorry excuse of food with them. Trust me I felt great afterwards. Santa's Girl

Hello unique.  I wore this outfit on Christmas day. Normally my Christmas day doesn't include dressing up; I would rather stay in and just eat, sleep, watch TV and do this all over again and I always end up missing morning services in church. But I wanted something different this time around. And yes I’m Santa’s girl because I decided to do some Santa’s duty by dropping off gifts to special friends. And what better way to carry gifts other than a big red bag like Santa’s does.  Hahaha. Since its Christmas day I decided to wear my favorite and versatile piece. I made this skirt in so many colors, and this gold one is the first I made, so I’m attach to it.
