Preppy Look.

Hello everyone!
Today’s look is all about looking preppy,and preppy for me is clean cut, comfortable silhouette, freshness  and cool tones, it's doing away with the flashy and tight piece. If you are going for a preppy look It best to keep things simple , it not about how expensive the outfit is, it about looking expensive by  being fresh and comfortable.

This look is the entirety of my style, I love to be comfortable in any outfits I choose to wear either long  or short, loose or fit, it all depends on the texture of the material, and me being a fashion designer is probably the reason I pay much attention to textures. I also love flats, mostly sneakers and slip-on, this is probably because I’m  still a student that attend classes from morning till dusk and heels is a bad choice when you are on the move on foot, not that I don’t love heels, as a matter of fact I have more heels than  flats, but I only wear them occasionally mostly on Sundays, but I plan to stock on flats more in the future and resist the urge to buy every cute heels I see.






I just love classic piece like this white shirt that wont go out of style, you can see how I styled it before here,  it saves money to get piece you can style in so many way, and the best way to achieve that is think on the multiple time you can style a piece you want to buy before you pay for it. and skirt like this ankara skirt made by me is one versatile piece I cant do without, I have styled it in so many ways, I love this skirt because it’s comfortable, girlie, cute and chic, I have all kind of prints of it in my wardrobe. I just breath on prints, mostly ankara print.

Hello unique. Happy, happy  New Year.  Wow! It’s amazing how time flies, still feels like yesterday when I celebrated 2013. Hello unique.  Hope you all had a lovely celebration, now for some of us its time to start thinking of a new year resolution, I use to do that too, but I realized early enough that I wouldn't stick to it pass January, so I have decided not to, but just try to be the best of me this coming year. And a few days back I went out with a friend to a restaurant for lunch, only for them to serve me dried up sausage, the food was horrible. I normally would have just eaten the food as it is or just leave it not to cause trouble. But I didn't do the usual; I went straight to the staffs, gave them a piece of my mind and dump the sorry excuse of food with them. Trust me I felt great afterwards. Santa's Girl

Hello unique.  I wore this outfit on Christmas day. Normally my Christmas day doesn't include dressing up; I would rather stay in and just eat, sleep, watch TV and do this all over again and I always end up missing morning services in church. But I wanted something different this time around. And yes I’m Santa’s girl because I decided to do some Santa’s duty by dropping off gifts to special friends. And what better way to carry gifts other than a big red bag like Santa’s does.  Hahaha. Since its Christmas day I decided to wear my favorite and versatile piece. I made this skirt in so many colors, and this gold one is the first I made, so I’m attach to it.
